Let's stay in contact

Welcome! and thank you for visiting my little home on the web. I would love to tell you more about my journeys in tech and running. I mostly write about what I learn from running long distances and building large scale web applications. I also enjoy reading your email responses.

Thank you, Chris

30 Days of Habit

Forming a daily habit 30 days at a time

I can’t believe it has taken me this long to realize that I need to improve. In hindsight it seems obvious. Of course I need to continually get better. Something happened, life happened or whatever other convenient excuse happened. I got comfortable, lazy. I stopped improving.

I was fine for a while. I’m a top performer. A little slide in performance doesn’t register. Until a little over a long time becomes a lot. I had to do something. Things need to change. What could I do? I’m busy. I’m committed to important things. I can’t make a radical change.

I can make a small change, lots of small changes. Then I’ll stack them together. Lots of small changes overtime become big changes. I’m making small changes every 30 days. I’m stacking my small changes together over a year.

Small improvements over time become big improvements. Life changing improvements.

Welcome to my steady journey to becoming the best me I can be.

December - 30 Days Of IIoT

The rules for writing about the Industrial Internet of Things for these 30 days are simple: text only. No pictures, no diagrams, nothing outside of standard markdown. This will be an exercise in clearly articulating my technical knowledge in English. Starting in January I’ll share code, diagrams and video. During the month of December I’m limited to text.
